Dr. Jordan West earned his bachelor’s degree in 2005 at Santa Clara University. After college, he chose to pursue dentistry and attended the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, California, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008. From there, he attended a two-year General Practice Residency at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. Dr. West completed his Master of Science in Dentistry in Endodontics at the University of Washington, under the guidance of endodontic chair and director, Dr. James D. Johnson, DDS, MS, FICD.
Dr. West earned one of the top awards at the 2012 AAE Annual Session for his research on apex location using a novel obturation technique. In August of 2012, he joined his father, Dr. John West, and his brother, Dr. Jason West, at the Center for Endodontics in Tacoma, Washington.
Dr. West enjoys being connected with the education of Endodontics, as he serves as a clinical instructor of Endodontics at the University of Washington dental school. He lectured and taught hands-on courses on clinical Endodontics at the 2013 Annual Session for the American Dental Association in New Orleans.
Along with his passionate and caring nature, Dr. West brings a sense of calm and confidence to those he serves. He is committed to providing his patients with both exceptional technical skill as well as a sincere desire for their overall health and wellbeing.
As a proud uncle of six amazing and unique nieces and nephews Dr. Jordan West spends his leisure time with his incredible wife and the extended family. Depending on the season he can most likely be found skiing on the water in front of Fox Island or rushing the slopes of White Pass in the Cascades.
